Bird Construction has announced approximately $1 billion in recent project awards and agreements across Canada, including new work involving piling, marine construction and dredging. Fraser River Pile & Dredge (FRPD) has been selected for major marine and dredging work in British Columbia. Bird acquired FRPD in October 2025, adding the company’s marine infrastructure, land foundation and dredging expertise to its self-perform capabilities.
The latest awards also include an industrial project with a piling component. Bird Industrial has been selected to deliver a new liquefied petroleum gas rail-loading facility for a Canadian energy infrastructure client in Alberta. Its scope includes civil earthworks, underground utilities, piling, module fabrication and installation, piping, mechanical and electrical systems, and operations support buildings.
Other awards announced by Bird span the nuclear, mining, industrial maintenance and building sectors across Canada.
