The Canadian Foundation for Geotechnique (CFG) is a registered charitable organization, operating independently from, but in close alignment with, the Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS). Their mission is to recognize, support and advance excellence in geotechnical engineering through meaningful, lasting initiatives.

- Investment committee: Provide strategic oversight of CFG’s investments and help ensure the long-term sustainability of the foundation’s programs.
- Student Awards committee: Support and engage student members of CGS by promoting scholarships, developing new initiatives and increasing visibility of student members.
