From April 29 to May 1, leaders from Indigenous Nations, business and government will gather in Toronto for a dialogue on Canada’s evolving place in the world. Now in its 9th year, the First Nations Major Projects Coalition (FNMPC) Conference is a recognized forum that drew over 1,800 delegates, 800 companies and 450 Indigenous representatives in 2025.

At the conference, attendees will engage in conversations on how Indigenous partnerships strengthen competitiveness, stability and trust. They will share perspectives on new relationships in trade, defence and environmental protection. Speakers will show examples of how environmental care and access to capital create value for communities and businesses. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with decision-makers across sectors and Nations.

The gathering creates space for Nations to share their voices and priorities, and for all to listen, learn and work in partnership. Guided by the seven-generation principle, sessions and speakers will focus on practical insights and shared strategies for long-term prosperity.
