Soilmec returned to Bauma 2025, emphasizing products and human connections. Located at FN521/9 in the outdoor drilling area, Soilmec presented a new 375-square-metre covered stand with open spaces for networking, Italian cuisine and technology discussions. The stand included offices, a meeting room and an outdoor display area featuring key machines.

Soilmec showcased three main product lines: SC, SR and SM. Innovation and technology was presented within the machines and in the “controls” area, characterized by the mobile training classroom, where it was possible to try the SR machine simulator and the latest DMS developments.

SC Line

The SC line for heavy-duty cranes showcased the SC-130 HD in Dynamic Compaction configuration.

  • SC-130 HD: This 130-tonne crane supports up to 36-tonne drop weights with a 29-metre boom. Powered by a Cat C18 engine (563 kilowatts (kW)), it offers winch options of 300 kilonewtons (kN) or 350 kN for high-load applications.

SM Line

Three micropile machines were displayed, highlighting versatility and performance:

  • SM-11: Compact (11 tonnes), ideal for tight spaces, with five rotary head options and a 96 kN push-pull force.
  • SM-18: Market-proven, now with a 209 kW Cummins engine and a Jet Grouting kit for 27.3-metre single-pass treatments.
  • SM-22: Most powerful in the line (22 tonnes), optimized for tie rods and anchors, with a 10.2-metre stroke and 150 kN push-pull force.

SR Line

Soilmec’s flagship drilling rigs featured two Blue Tech models and introduced the new Blue Tech Plus:

  • SR-95 Blue Tech: High-end rig (100 tonnes), 455 kW Cummins engine, and optimized winch system for deep pile drilling (100+ metres).
  • SR-65 Blue Tech: Versatile (65 tonnes), easily transportable with Kelly bar mounted, ideal for drilled piles and casing work.
  • Blue Tech Plus Line: Improved efficiency and lower emissions with a refined hydraulic system, reducing fuel consumption and total ownership costs.

Innovation and controls

The Controls area showcased the latest DMS Suite advancements:

  • DME Simulator: A real-cabin training tool for drilled pile operations.
  • J-Eye Cameras: AI-driven safety system for on-site monitoring.
  • Smart Maintenance: AI-based predictive maintenance for early issue detection.
  • DMS-Suite: Enhanced automation for drilling, fleet management, and system integration.
